Offer Image
Take to the air and experience the "Garden Island" the very best way you can, in a private airplane! Every seat is a window seat, and your window to the world; clear seas, breath-taking beaches, red-rock canyons, sweeping waterfalls and emerald mountains.

Private Kauai by Airplane

Take a seat in your very own private airplane and take to the skies over Kauai, nicknamed the "Garden Island," where stunning natural beauty includes the rugged Na Pali Coast and the massive Waimea Canyon, known as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific." There are more rainbows and cascading waterfalls than you can count, so buckle in and experience Kauai with your new Ohana (Family).

Did you know that 80% of Kauai is inaccessible by automobile? The perfect way to overcome this obstacle is booking an air tour. Your private aircraft is a twin engine, high wing, Partenavia P68 with large windows for your viewing pleasure. This aircraft is perfect for the breath-taking, panoramic views you will encounter. This airplane has capacity seating for just 5 passengers, making for a comfortable ride with every person having their own window seat. No other guests will be on board your aircraft and all tours are specially designed for you and your Ohana (family) and or friends desired sightseeing requests.

After meeting your friendly, local representative you will make your way to the Lihue Airport to board your aircraft. Kauai's natural gifts are unparalleled in Hawaii and you are about to learn first-hand just how extraordinary the island is. The dramatic cliffs and pinnacles of the Na Pali Coast have served as a backdrop for major Hollywood films, while 10-mile-long Waimea Canyon and the Nounou Trails traversing the Sleeping Giant mountain ridge provide a hiking paradise.

You will fly clockwise around the island via the southsides sunny beaches, along the expansive "Kauai Coffee" fields in Kalaheo, up the green Hanapepe Valley to Jurassic Falls to view the Manawaiopuna Waterfall.

Many panoramic sights await you including Alakai Swamp, the highest swamp in North America. Hanale'i Bay, the famous surfing location, Ke'e Beach, also known as the end of the road. Lumahai Beach, where the movie "South Pacific" was filmed, Queens Bath, the tide pool where ancient queens bathed and Kilauea Lighthouse that also serves as a bird sanctuary.

Continue over the rugged Olokele canyon and the vast Waimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, around the stunning 4,000-foot sea cliffs off the Na Pali Coast, through the lush Hanalei Valley, with its numerous waterfalls, to Wai'ale'ale crater, one of the wettest spots on planet earth. You will also view Wailua Falls before returning to the airport.

All Kauai air tours are flown and narrated by highly experienced, professional air tour pilots that are certified Hawaii air tour guides.

Please Note: The plane available for this tour accommodates groups of up to 5 guests maximum. Please take this information into consideration when booking.
